Things institutes ask us first
How long does it take to get started?
Most institutes are taking attendance on the same day they sign up. The setup wizard asks for your institute details, subjects and first batch — about ten minutes — and students can be imported from a CSV if you already keep them in Excel.
Can parents use it without installing an app?
Yes. The parent portal is a website they sign in to with their phone number, so it works on any phone with a browser. There is nothing to install and no password to remember.
Do I need my own payment gateway to collect fees online?
No. You can collect online payments through our Razorpay account from day one, with the money settled to your bank. If you already have a Razorpay merchant account, connect it and the money never passes through us at all.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your account becomes read-only — you can still sign in, view everything and export all of it as CSV — and we keep your data for 60 days so you can come back without losing anything.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes, from the Growth plan onwards. Each student, batch, staff member and enquiry belongs to a branch, every list can be filtered to one, and branch admins only ever see their own. The owner sees all of them side by side.
Is my institute’s data separated from other institutes?
Every record carries your institute's id, and every query the application makes is scoped to it before it reaches the database. Institutes cannot see each other's data, and that separation is enforced in one place rather than remembered in each feature.
Do you support Hindi and regional languages?
Student and guardian names, addresses and notes can be entered in any Indian script, and they survive being exported to Excel. The interface itself is in English today.
Can I move my existing data in?
Students and their guardians import from a CSV, with a preview and per-row errors before anything is saved. For fees and attendance history, talk to us — we will help you get it in.
